This fine Baltic neoclassical mahogany center table has a circular top with a central inset surface painted in imitation of porphyry and with gilded and fluted bronze band and skirt edge. The graduated octagonal paneled standard is inset with gilded and fluted bronze mounts, above an ebonized collar and raised on a concave tripartite base, again inset with gilded and fluted bronze mounts, all supported by three ebonized ball feet.
